Thermaltake announces collaboration with
USA modder - Richard Surroz on
The Level 10 Titanium MOD at 2015 COMPUTEX
Taipei, Taiwan－May 7, 2015－Thermaltake, an industry leader in computer chassis, thermal solutions, and power supply units, has invited world renowned modder Richard “DarthBeavis” Surroz to the COMPUTEX Taipei 2015 at Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall 4th floor, Booth M110, from June 2nd to June 6th, where he will showcase his Level 10 Titanium LCS Modding project—The Man with the Titanium Gun, and perform a PETG Hardline Modding Demonstration. Richard has been one of the early modders that burst into the modding scene back in 1997. He is the owner of the company, Out Of the Box Mods, and has won three CPU Magazine covers. Aside from modding, Richard instructs in the School of Information Technology at an ITT campus where he includes liquid nitrogen over-clocking, water-cooling, and case modding in his teachings. Impressed with Richard’s passion and talent in modding, Thermaltake invited Richard to transform the Level 10 Titanium Limited Edition Chassis released in 2014, with Thermaltake cooling and power components. The Level 10 concept originated from Thermaltake’s first collaboration in 2009 with BMW Designsworks USA. Thermaltake Level 10 Titanium has redefined the architectural aesthetics of chassis design, continuously driving toward the corporate mission of “delivering the perfect user experience”. By rendering the inside components visible, the design concept focuses on the architectural aesthetics which are inherent in the computers and result from each individually configurable component, subsequently winning numerous awards like the IDEA, Good Design, Golden Pin Design, iF, reddot, d&i, and Red Star. And for this project, Thermaltake has given Richard the lucky case number “007”, which inspired him to base his modding theme on the James Bond movie series, and add cool animatronic features to the chassis like opening doors and panels powered by servos. Look forward to the unveiling of Richard’s exciting “007” themed, Level 10 Titanium LCS Modding project—The Man with the Titanium Gun!

The asymmetrical balance of a strong vertical heatsink with horizontal components creates an iconic architectural statement. The Open Compartment Architecture (O.C.A.) design with all individually encased system components exposed allows all elements to be visible and easily added or removed.
The wind tunnel test for Level 10 aerodynamics uses exactly the same criteria for F1 race car. Thus Thermaltake engineers have been able to modulate the airflow to perfection. The result is highly efficient configuration that channels airflows to the maximum.
The exposed vertical heatsink with multiple layers allows targeted ventilation to be reached by an advanced airflow system with two separate thermal zones and individual fans preventing overheating.
There are 6 removable hard drive cases for 3.5” and 2.5” HDD or SSD. It is Small Disks Ready due to the built in 2.5” SSD or HDD brackets. The innovation of removable hard drive cases enables easy transport while offering protection.
